The Clinical Skills Trainer

UK Haptics has developed a unique learning experience to complement existing training methods. The Clinical Skills Trainer provides access to the growing range of virtual reality training solutions from UK Haptics.

Users login to the Clinical Skills Trainer to run Virtual Veins or other UK Haptics solutions. This provides a consistent environment for students and clinicians to work in and to practice various clinical procedures by linking through to their 3D virtual reality simulations. All UK Haptics solutions will be put together using the same formatting and layout which means users don’t have to learn how each program works each time a new one is added to the repertoire. Students and clinicians can view their results as they work and have ready access to the results later via either the UK Haptics website or their organisations MLE/VLE where this has been set up to take input from the UK Haptics software.

Administrators of the system in an organisation, can add students, organise them into groups, set up course access for students, add the organisations own materials, protocols, policies and procedures into the package for direct access by students and practitioners, add news articles for their organisation or departments and view feedback on student progress.
