C++ Programmer required now

Excellent opportunity to join an medical training software company. We are currently looking for experienced C++ Programmers.

Candidates MUST have a strong mathematical background and previous commercial software engineering experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Reporting to the Lead Software Engineer &Technical Director, keeping them informed of technical progress as well as suggesting any improvements that will aid development.
  • Implement ways to push the features of the application under direction from their Lead Software Engineer.
  • Work as part of a team and take advice from other Engineers who may have mor experience in certain areas of programming, in relation to medical training software development development.

The ideal candidates will have strong C++ skills with experience in as many of the following areas as possible, DirectX, Shaders, haptics/force feedback, Virtual Reality and physics simulation. Candidates will have worked on the fulllife cycle of a number of projects.

C# .NET Developer required now

As a C# .NET Developer / Software Developer with UK Haptics you'll primarily be responsible for developing data applications for the company's platform. Specifically, this will involve developing both web and windows applications requiring a high degree of usability.

Your duties will include:

  • producing and updating documentation for projects you're involved with
  • Attending client facing and internal meetings to obtain customer requirements
  • Authoring functional and technical specifications
  • Testing both your own software and that of other team developers when needed

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Experience of windows and web programming using dot net
  • Development experience using C#
  • Strong GUI skills
  • Experience with SQL Server - database management and replication
  • Experience of report creation

You should be an excellent communicator with a dynamic, meticulous and personable approach. Equally as important will be the ability to work in a team or alone as required and deal with customers at all levels.
