Assistant Accountant
Reporting to the Finance / Office Manager the Assistant Accountant will take on a varied role; on a day to day basis and you could be expected to complete a wide range of tasks including
reconciliations, assisting with payroll, general ledger accounts, the completion of statistical and formal corporate returns and grant claims and assisting with the preparation of monthly
management / client accounts and credit control.
A team player, able to operate with minimal supervision, applicants must have book-keeping experience, a good working knowledge of Sage Link 50, Sage Payroll and Sage Forecasting and a
good operational grasp of Microsoft Excel and its functionality.
Applicants studying towards a formal accountancy qualification including (CIMA/ACCA) or candidates with an AAT and relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
